A shortened, more lightweight alternative to our best-selling Lila gown. All of our labor and postpartum gowns are designed with actual labor in mind by a Labor and Delivery Nurse and Doula. These gowns are intended to provide accessibility to your medical team, while still being stylish and comfortable for you.

Some features of this gown include:

• High-quality, butter smooth, stretch material - Did you know, for some women, sensations are experienced differently in labor? A texture that may feel fine normally can become irritating and distracting during labor. The material used for this gown has been hand-selected to be soft enough to keep you comfortable throughout.

• Low back - perfect to provide accessibility for epidural placement and/or massage.

• Opens at the belly - Most labor gowns you’ll find don’t open in front at all, meaning the cords from your fetal monitors will hang down in front of your legs which can be annoying and distracting. Our labor gowns open down the middle of your belly so you can string the cords up with your portable monitoring system and keep them out of the way and out from under your feet.

• Two inside ties - Did you know one of the most common complaints from women after they have given birth is that their privacy was invaded? Most labor gowns that offer a similar level of accessibility are skimpy and revealing. Our gowns are made with things like 3/4 sleeves, and two inside ties to keep your gown closed while not sacrificing accessibility.

• Opens at the chest - The front of this gown opens completely at the chest for skin-to-skin immediately after birth, and because sometimes that happens quickly or unexpectedly there are no knots to untie or changes of position required to give complete and immediate access to your chest for skin to skin and breastfeeding.

• Matching Baby Swaddle Set - How can you miss the opportunity to match with your baby? Our Lila gown can be ordered solo or as a set. Simply add a matching Baby Swaddle Set to your cart and use code BUNDLE50 at checkout to get the matching Baby Swaddle Set for 50% off!

Our gowns are made of 8% spandex and 92% rayon

So beautiful and comfortable! The pattern and the fit is very flattering, looks too pretty for labor wear but so special for such an occasion. Could definitely be worn in other situations if desired. Thoughtfully designed and constructed. Absolutely Gorgeous! Very happy with each item in my order and the customer service is top tier. Fast response and thoughtful resolution to any problem that arises. Small business approach to personal help for customers with high professionalism and quality of a bigger business. Every experience I’ve had is a 10/10. So enjoyable to support this brand and indulge in their products!

Design Flaws

I really like the material and idea behind the Juliet labor and delivery gown, but I feel like there are some subtle design flaws that could have been better. For one, the buttons around the breast and nipple area are very sharp and jagged, which feels like it could be detrimental, especially for breastfeeding moms or moms that have sore nipples. Another thing about the labor and delivery gown that feels flawed is that there is no way to keep the shoulder straps together in the back, which makes you feel a bit exposed as things are progressing in labor and slide around.

The cutest and comfiest labor gown!

If you're thinking about getting a labor gown, do it! The fabric of the gowns and robes are so soft, stretchy, and breathable. it definitely helped in my labor and I bought the Juliet because I get very hot and wanted the thin straps. The only reason it wasn't given perfect stars is because the straps would fall down sometimes. It came with a little plastic piece to help hold them up, but if there was just one more tie in the back, it would be perfect. My anesthesiologist also commented that it was cool that I could just pull and stretch it down in the back during the epidural.

Soft but needs strap help!

I was lucky enough to have my vbac in this gown and put it on right before I started pushing. It was amazingly comfortable but the straps would not stay up. The deep back was amazing for my epidural and I wasn’t uncomfortable temperature was, but the straps continually slipped off my shoulders. I wish I would have added a ribbon or tie

Beautiful but Uncomfortable As-Is

The gown is lovely and has a great texture- very soft and buttery! However- the steepness of the cut in the back added with the wideness in the shoulder straps makes it so those straps do not stay on for more than five seconds after adjusting them. This would make it impossible to have any modesty or comfort at all in labor as they were constantly causing the bodice to fall open.

Luckily my mom was able to see an additional ribbon strap in the back for me across the shoulders- otherwise this would be something I couldn’t wear at all. The picture is of the gown with the ribbon sewed in.
